On June 23rd local time, US prosecutors suggested that senior officials from the US Department of Justice file criminal charges against Boeing after discovering that the company had violated settlement agreements related to two fatal plane crashes. The Department must decide whether to prosecute Boeing before July 7th.
It is reported that the internal review of the Ministry of Justice is still ongoing and a final decision has not yet been made.
As of the last trading day last week, Boeing closed at $176.56 per share, with a latest market value of $108.4 billion.
