On May 14th, Taiwanese chip design company Alchip disclosed in an announcement on the Taiwan Stock Exchange that Amazon had subscribed to 224537 shares of shares allocated by World Semiconductor Private Placement at a price of NT $2382 per share, with a total investment of approximately NT $534.8 million. Amazon is the largest customer of Worldchip Technology, accounting for over 50% of its sales.
