Alibaba 1688 will fully enter Taobao and set up a dedicated channel. Recently, 1688 has launched a comprehensive Taobao entry, initially opening three stores. These stores will be integrated into a channel similar to Tmall Supermarket, and Taobao will launch 1688 strictly selected OEM source products. Merchants do not need to open separate stores on Taobao, but instead use a semi hosting model to directly connect their goods to the consumer market. These three stores are Yanxuan Taobao Store, Enterprise Self Procurement Tmall Store, and Industrial Expert Selection Tmall Store.
