On November 28th, according to reports from American media such as the Associated Press, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg had dinner with US President elect Trump at Mar-a-Lago on November 27th local time.
According to reports, a spokesperson for Meta confirmed that Zuckerberg and Trump met on the 27th and stated that he was invited to dinner with Trump and other members of his team to discuss the upcoming administration.
The report pointed out that the relationship between Trump and Zuckerberg was once tense. After the Capitol Hill riots on January 6, 2021, Facebook froze Trump's account and restored it in early 2023. Trump stated in June 2021 that he would not entertain Zuckerberg again after "returning to the White House".
