On October 22, Southern Finance and Economics reported that FedEx announced at the "2024 North Bund International Shipping Forum" held in Shanghai today that it will upgrade its FedEx Shanghai International Express and Cargo Center located at Pudong International Airport to an intercontinental transit center. The upgraded intercontinental transit center will expand its network coverage by connecting Shanghai with second - and third tier cities in mainland China through various means.
