During the third quarter earnings conference call, Huazhu Group CEO Jin Hui admitted that the decline in Huazhu China's RevPAR in the third quarter was mainly affected by weak business market growth. Although the overall OCC (occupancy rate) maintained steady growth, the ADR (average daily room rate) of domestic mid to high end hotels declined significantly, which affected the overall ADR. He stated that it is expected that RevPAR will continue to decline in the fourth quarter, but the downward trend will narrow.
