UBS Asia Pacific President Edmund Koh stated in a memo that Eugene Qian has decided to step down as the head of the China region due to family reasons. Qian will continue to work on several tasks related to China after the completion of the Credit Suisse acquisition. Janice Hu will be appointed as the head of the China region, effective from September 16th. Hu is currently the Vice Chairman of UBS and the Chairman of Global Banking China, and has previously served as the Head of Credit Suisse China Business. (Bloomberg)
