UBS announced on February 6th that stock repurchases will begin after the legal merger between UBS and Credit Suisse, and will exceed pre acquisition levels by 2026. The bank confirms its profit target for this period and increases the planned cost savings from approximately $10 billion to $13 billion.
UBS froze its $5 billion stock repurchase plan when announcing its acquisition of Credit Suisse last year.
