On January 30th, Amazon announced that it had signed a Corporate Power Purchase Agreement (CPPA) with French energy group Engie, increasing its share of output in the Moray West offshore wind farm of British wind developer Ocean Winds to 473 megawatts, which will be operational later this year. Ocean Winds is a joint venture between EDP Renewables and Engie, each holding half of the shares, specializing in offshore wind power business.
