On January 11th, Caixin News Agency reported that Whirlpool announced that the company plans to revise several commercial agreements related to licensed technology, intellectual property, brands, etc. with Whirlpool Corporation (referred to as "Whirlpool Group") and Whirlpool Properties, Inc. Specifically, the company plans to sign a Brand License Termination Agreement with Whirlpool Group and Whirlpool Properties, Inc., a Trademark Transfer Agreement and a Brand License Agreement with Whirlpool Properties, Inc., as well as a First Amendment to the Technology and Intellectual Property License Agreement and a Supplementary Agreement to the Global Supply Agreement regarding the Contract Term with Whirlpool Group.
