Beijing, December 27th (Xinhua) -- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on the 27th the decision to take countermeasures against US military industrial enterprises and senior management personnel. The full text is as follows:
Decision on taking countermeasures against US military industrial enterprises and senior management personnel
(Announced by Order No. 16 of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China on December 27, 2024, and effective from December 27, 2024)
The United States recently announced once again that it would provide large amounts of arms aid and sell weapons to Taiwan, China, China. The "National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2025" of the United States includes a number of negative provisions concerning China, which seriously violates the one China principle and the three Sino US joint communiques, seriously interferes in China's internal affairs, and seriously damages China's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
According to Article 3, Article 4, Article 5, Article 6, Article 9, and Article 15 of the Anti Foreign Sanctions Law of the People's Republic of China, the Chinese side has decided to take the following countermeasures against seven companies and their relevant senior management personnel listed in the attached "Countermeasures List", including Innovent, Hudson Technology, Saronic Technology, Raytheon Canada, Raytheon Australia, Alcon, and International Ocean Engineering Company:
1、 Freeze movable, immovable, and other types of property within the territory of our country;
2、 It is prohibited for organizations and individuals within our country to engage in transactions, cooperation, and other activities related to it.
This decision shall come into effect on December 27, 2024.
