On November 8th, Amazon announced the opening of its first innovation center in the Asia Pacific region in Shenzhen. The reporter learned that with the joint support of the Shenzhen Municipal Government and the Shenzhen Qianhai Management Bureau, the innovation center will integrate various resources such as cross-border e-commerce sellers, industry organizations, and service providers from various regions to create a cross-border e-commerce innovation exchange and incubation base that radiates the Asia Pacific region.
It is reported that with the core of "gathering practice, cultivating capabilities, and accelerating innovation", the innovation center will build a sound innovation system, promote industry experience sharing through the establishment of a communication network, and empower sellers' innovation capabilities in product, brand, operation, and cognition. It will also leverage Amazon's global and third-party resources to accelerate the transformation of innovative achievements, enhance the core competitiveness of sellers, and promote the high-quality development of cross-border e-commerce exports.
After the innovation center is put into use, it will provide offline exhibition space for innovation from all parties in the industry. According to Amazon's global store introduction, the innovation center has set up a seller display area called "Ella Hut". The first batch of more than 130 innovative products exhibited come from more than 90 well-known overseas brands in different regions of the country, which not only reflects the diversity and originality of cross-border e-commerce products, but also demonstrates the innovation strength of Chinese sellers. In the long run, the innovation center will provide opportunities for industry stakeholders to showcase and exchange ideas, promoting wider recognition and application of innovative achievements.
