Famous semiconductor columnist Gao Canming quoted sources as saying that TSMC has started producing small quantities of Apple A16 chips at its Arizona factory, with a yield rate close to that of its Taiwan factory. Once the second phase of Fab 21 Phase I of the factory is completed and put into operation, the production of A16 will increase significantly. At present, the yield of TSMC's Arizona factory is slightly lower than that of its Taiwan factory, but the difference is not significant. It is expected that the factory's yield rate will reach the same level as the Taiwan factory in the coming months.
