Lululemon lowers its full year net revenue forecast

On August 29th, Lululemon announced its financial performance for the second quarter of the 2024 fiscal year ending on July 28th. Net income for the second quarter increased by 7% year-on-year to $2.4 billion, with diluted earnings per share of $3.15. The company opened 10 new self operated stores in the second fiscal quarter, bringing the total number of stores to 721. The company expects net revenue for the third quarter to be between $2.34 billion and $2.365 billion, a year-on-year increase of 6% to 7%. It is expected that net revenue for the full year will be between $10.375 billion and $10.475 billion, compared to the previous estimate of $10.7 billion to $10.8 billion.
