TSMC's two capital increase plans for Japan and the United States have been approved by the Taiwan authorities, totaling over 10 billion US dollars. In response to local customer demand growth and strengthening strategic relationships with customers, TSMC plans to invest 5.26 billion US dollars in the Japanese Kumamoto wafer manufacturing subsidiary to build Kumamoto II plant, which is expected to produce 6/7 nanometer, 12/16 nanometer, and 40 nanometer process technology products. In addition, we plan to increase our subsidiary TSMC Arizona's capital by $5 billion to establish the second phase of the Arizona plant, which is expected to produce 2 nanometer and 3 nanometer process technology products.
