Stellantis will start building its first car factory in South Africa this month, and the company is now considering producing new energy vehicles locally, which may expand the factory originally planned to invest $158 million. Mike Whitfield, General Manager of Stellantis South Africa, said that these vehicles may include electric vehicles, hydrogen powered vehicles, or hybrid vehicles. (Bloomberg)
