According to CCTV news, on May 25th local time, on the 23rd, passengers on an American Airlines Boeing 737 plane flying from Miami to Costa Rica were asked to disembark twice due to plane malfunctions and waited for more than an hour in the stuffy cabin. A passenger reported that after boarding for the second time, the temperature inside the cabin reached as high as 35 degrees Celsius.
It is reported that the passenger was informed during the waiting period that there was an electrical issue with the plane, and eventually the passenger changed planes, resulting in a 5-hour delay in the flight's departure.
American Airlines stated that it is conducting an investigation into the incident.
