Barclays appoints Stephen Pick as Head of Mergers and Acquisitions for Europe, Middle East, and Africa

Barclays stated in a statement that it has appointed Stephen Pick from UBS Group as the Head of Mergers and Acquisitions for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, as part of a series of appointments by the UK bank to strengthen its advisory team in the region.
Pick will be based in London, reporting to Tim Main, Head of Investment Banking in the region, and IHSAN Essaid, Head of Global Mergers and Acquisitions. Pick has worked at Credit Suisse and UBS for seven years, and recently served as the Managing Director of the European M&A team.
At the same time, Barclays has appointed Pier Luigi Colizzi as the Chairman of Mergers and Acquisitions for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, and appointed Asim Mullick as the new Head of Financial Sponsorship Mergers and Acquisitions for the region. (Bloomberg)
