Google plans to reintroduce the Gemini AI model portrait generation feature in the coming weeks. Google's DeepMind CEO, Demis Hassabis, stated on February 26th that Google plans to reintroduce the Gemini AI model portrait generation feature in the coming weeks. "We have taken this feature offline and are currently fixing the issue. We hope to reintroduce it in the coming weeks.". Google launched this feature earlier this month. Last week, the company announced that it discovered inaccuracies in certain historical image generation descriptions of the Gemini model, such as some white historical character images generated in the Gemini 1.5 version being of color. Google has since suspended this feature and plans to release an improved version again.
