Recently, Ericsson, China Mobile Research Institute, and Henan Mobile jointly completed 5G new call field testing in the current 5G network of China Mobile in Kaifeng, Henan. This test is based on a 5G network of 700MHz and 2.6GHz, covering multiple test cases, including the functional processes, wireless performance, and network validation of multiple new call services. It marks a solid step forward for Ericsson to assist China Mobile in the comprehensive commercial process of 5G new calls. 5G New Call is a new generation of call products based on 5G networks, providing a series of innovative call enhancement services and innovative applications, bringing users a multimedia, visual, and fully interactive call experience, which will further upgrade call services and business models.
