Toyota subsidiary Daihatsu will compensate over 400 domestic Japanese suppliers due to data fraud. A spokesperson for Toyota subsidiary Daihatsu stated on the 25th that as the company's Japanese factory continues to shut down due to a safety scandal, compensation will be provided to 423 domestic Japanese suppliers with whom it has direct business relationships. The spokesperson stated that all Daihatsu's domestic factories in Japan will be shut down until the end of next month.
