On December 4th, it was learned from Vale that the construction and trial operation of the Voisey&s Bay mining area expansion project have been completed, with an annual nickel production capacity of 45000 tons. The total production capacity of the expanded mining area is approximately 45000 tons of nickel per year, with by-products including 20000 tons of copper and 2600 tons of cobalt per year. It is expected to reach full production in the second half of 2026.
