The three major indexes of the US stock market collectively closed higher, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average and the S&P hitting historic highs. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 522.09 points, or 1.26%, to 42025.19 points; The Nasdaq rose 440.68 points, or 2.51%, to 18013.98 points; The S&P 500 index rose 95.38 points, or 1.70%, to 5713.64 points.
Large tech stocks have generally risen, with Tesla rising over 7%, Nvidia, Meta, and Apple rising over 3%, Netflix soaring over 2%, and Intel, Microsoft, Google, and Amazon rising over 1%.
Popular Chinese concept stocks rose, with the Nasdaq China Golden Dragon Index up 4.15%. Futu Holdings rose nearly 14%, Xiaopeng Motors rose over 8%, NIO rose over 7%, JD.com and Bilibili rose over 6%, Tencent Music, Alibaba, and Vipshop rose over 4%, iQiyi, NetEase, and Weibo rose over 3%, Baidu and Ideal Auto rose over 2%, and Pinduoduo rose over 1%.
