On June 14th, the State Administration for Market Regulation disclosed that Tesla Motors (Beijing) Co., Ltd. had filed a recall plan with the State Administration for Market Regulation. Starting from July 1, 2024, a total of 5836 imported Model 3, Model S, and Model X electric vehicles with production dates between January 12, 2019 and April 26, 2024 will be recalled. Due to manufacturing reasons, some vehicles within the scope of this recall have abnormal driver seat occupancy function. After the vehicle is started and the driver is not wearing a seat belt, the seat belt reminder device cannot emit warning sounds and visual warnings, posing a safety hazard. Tesla Motors (Beijing) Co., Ltd. will upgrade vehicles within the recall scope to software version 2024.20.3 or higher for free through Remote Car Upgrade (OTA) technology.
