Telecom companies Vrio and Amazon said on June 13 that they would jointly launch satellite Internet services in seven South American countries, which would make them compete directly with Musk's Starlink. Both parties will provide this service to users in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Uruguay, Peru, Ecuador, and Colombia.
