On October 27th, Intel stated in its third quarter report that it plans to appeal against the European Commission's decision to impose an anti monopoly fine of 376 million euros.
In September of this year, the European Commission announced that due to the abuse of its dominant market position by American chip giant Intel, it had decided to impose a fine of 376 million euros on Intel. The announcement states that between November 2002 and December 2006, Intel made payments to three computer manufacturers, demanding that they stop or delay the launch of products equipped with competitor chips, and limiting the sales channels of these products.
