On June 5th, during the Taipei International Computer Show (Computex), Rene Hass, CEO of Arm, the world's largest chip design and architecture company, made a speech. With the large-scale application of terminal hardware devices such as AI PCs and AI smartphones in the next two years, he predicts that by the end of 2025, there will be over 100 billion devices based on Arm architecture available for AI. During an interview with Reuters at the opening of the exhibition yesterday, Arm CEO stated that the company aims to occupy more than 50% of the Windows PC (personal computer) market share within five years, in order to directly challenge the mainstream x86 architecture in this field.
