On May 16th, the Investment and Development Authority of Ireland (IDA Ireland) announced that IBM plans to hire up to 800 new employees in Ireland to help build advanced software supported by artificial intelligence technology. This is the largest recruitment announcement for the multinational company division in Ireland this year.
