At the 10th Lenovo Innovation Technology Conference Tech World on April 18th, Intel CEO Pat Gelsinger stated that making AI ubiquitous will fundamentally reshape and rebuild the personal computer experience, further unleashing personal productivity and creativity through the collaborative work of the cloud and personal computers. Lenovo and Intel are collaborating to develop AI PCs to provide users with an AI experience, and building a vibrant AI ecosystem in China to enhance the global AI ecosystem experience.
Kissinger mentioned that the role of computing technology is undergoing a fundamental transformation, which is closely related to human economy and life, and it is expanding into a new era. In this era, artificial intelligence driven systems will have autonomy and agency to assist us in completing both mental and physical tasks, and will become a part of daily scenarios.
In Kissinger's view, not every piece of information must exist in a public cloud. A "hybrid artificial intelligence" environment is necessary, that is, artificial intelligence models can exist in the cloud or enterprise data centers, as well as at the edge and on personal computers. The most private data should receive the highest level of security, so it should not be stored on public clouds, just like Lenovo's full stack technology from pocket to cloud.
