On April 2nd, it was reported that American home decor chain Home Depot announced on Monday that it will invest 2.86 billion pesos (approximately 172.16 million US dollars) in Mexico in 2024 to expand its market share. The company is expanding its product range, especially in the fields of furniture, decorations, and pets. Home Depot said its goal is to open 12 more stores in the next few years, bringing its total number of stores in Mexico to 150.
