Nucor announced on April 1st local time that it has acquired Southwest Data Products (SWDP), a data center infrastructure manufacturer and installer, for $115 million. SWDP's office and manufacturing plant are located in San Bernardino, California, and the company has approximately 147 team members. Newco also announced the launch of a new business unit, Newco Data Systems, which will serve customers in the data center infrastructure industry.
