On March 18th, Southern Finance confirmed to Alibaba that Hou Yi has officially stepped down as CEO of Hema and will continue to serve as Hema's Chief Honorary Advisor, with Hema's CFO Yan Xiaolei taking over. Alibaba Group CEO Wu Yongming notified Hema employees of the above-mentioned personnel changes through a full staff email.
