Vodafone announced on March 15th that it has agreed to sell its Italian business to Swiss Telecom for 8 billion euros.
Vodafone CEO Margarita Della Valle said that the sale marks the third and final step in reshaping our European business. Vodafone has previously announced the sale of its Spanish business and proposed a merger with Changhe for its UK business.
