On February 29th local time, American electric vehicle manufacturer Fisker announced plans to lay off 15% of its workforce due to operational difficulties, stating that it is in talks with a "large car company" for financing. In a statement, Fisker stated that without increasing funds, the company's existing capital may not be sufficient to support its development in the next 12 months.
