Anglo American announced on February 22 that it has agreed to acquire the Serra da Serpentina project owned by Vale and integrate it into Anglo American's Minas Rio mine in Brazil. Anglo American Group will continue to control, manage, and operate the Minas Rio business, including any expansion related to Serpentina.
