Tesla Inc. CEO Elon Musk tweeted on Wednesday that the electric vehicle manufacturer has set November 30th as the date to begin selling the first batch of Cyberracks.
Although Tesla's financial report did not meet expectations, good news about this unconventional looking electric pickup truck boosted Tesla's stock in after hours trading on Wednesday.
However, Musk attempted to alleviate this optimism during a conference call after the financial report, and Tesla's stock price immediately rose to as much as 2% after the update, but subsequently fell by more than 3% in post hours trading.
Musk also forwarded a "Third Quarter Shareholder Update" tweet from Tesla, which showed the Cyberracks launch event on November 30th.
