On February 7th, Alibaba released its results for the third quarter of the 2024 fiscal year. The financial report shows that AliExpress orders on AliExpress grew strongly by 60% and Alibaba International e-commerce revenue increased by 44% this quarter.
The financial report shows that the strong growth of AliExpress is mainly driven by Choice. Last March, AliExpress Choice, based on both fully hosted and semi hosted models, was officially launched overseas. In January 2024, Choice orders accounted for approximately half of AliExpress's total order volume.
Logistics service is one of Choice's core advantages. The financial report shows that in this quarter, AliExpress and Cainiao have further expanded the scope of high-quality logistics services for 5-day delivery worldwide, covering 10 countries. The global order volume for 5-day delivery has achieved a three digit growth compared to the previous quarter.
