On January 29th, the # Baidu Edge # topic became a hot topic on Weibo. According to feedback from multiple netizens, when using Baidu search on Microsoft Edge browser, the page displays a red warning and a warning message saying "This website has been reported as unsafe". To access the relevant page, click on "Details" and select "Continue to visit this unsafe site (not recommended)".
The Daily Economic News reporter asked Baidu and Microsoft for specific reasons, but as of the time of publication, no response has been received.
At around 18:00 on January 29th, the reporter searched on Baidu using Microsoft Edge browser and found that the relevant issue no longer exists. It is currently functioning normally.
