According to regulatory documents on January 18th local time, the board of directors of JPMorgan Chase approved CEO Damon's total salary for 2023 to be $36 million, including a $1.5 million base salary and $34.5 million incentive compensation. Damon's total salary increased by 4.3% compared to $34.5 million in 2022. JPMorgan Chase made a profit of $49.6 billion in 2023, an increase of 32%, setting the highest annual profit in US banking history. Its stock price rose 27% during the year.
