Elon Musk released a video of Tesla's "Optimus Prime" humanoid robot folding its own shirt on Monday local time, which was suspected of being fake by netizens. Musk posted this video on X on Monday. The video shows Tesla's Optimus Prime standing at a table, slowly folding a black shirt, seemingly unaffected by any external force. When releasing the video, Musk simply said, "Optimus Prime is folding shirts." However, about 30 minutes later, Musk added in a post that the "Optimus Prime" robot shown in the video is not as powerful as it appears. "Important reminder: Optimus Prime is not yet able to autonomously fold shirts, but in the future, it can definitely be achieved completely autonomously in any environment (without the need for a fixed table, and there is only one shirt in the box above)." Musk said, but he did not disclose when "Optimus Prime" will have this ability.
