On October 18th, Ford announced on its official website that a series of senior management teams have appointed Kumar Galhotra, who is responsible for Ford Blue's fuel and hybrid vehicle business, as the Chief Operating Officer. He will lead Ford's global industrial system, responsible for automotive hardware engineering, gasoline and hybrid projects, cycle planning, supply chain, and manufacturing. Doug Field serves as the Chief Electric Vehicle, Digital, and Design Officer, continuing to be responsible for global electric vehicle projects, development of electric vehicle technology and digital platforms, and Ford Design Studio. Andrew Frick was appointed as Ford Blue President, reporting directly to Ford CEO Jim Farley.
