Apple has agreed to reach a settlement on a lawsuit accusing the company of intentionally allowing fraudsters to use its gift cards and embezzling the stolen funds. According to a document submitted to the Federal Court of San Jose, California on January 3rd local time, Apple and the plaintiff reached an agreement on substantive settlement terms after cooperating with the mediator. They are drafting a formal settlement agreement to be submitted to the US regional judge for preliminary approval.
