On Wednesday local time, Berkshire Hathaway Energy's Pacific Corp issued $3.8 billion in US investment grade bonds to help understand claims related to wildfires in Oregon. A few weeks ago, Pacific Power Company announced that it would pay $299 million to settle claims related to wildfires burning houses in southwestern Oregon, in order to avoid another jury trial.
