In November, Toyota's sales in the Chinese market reached 164524 units, a year-on-year increase of 17%. In addition, Toyota's global sales of hybrid vehicles increased by 52% year-on-year in November, while sales of pure electric vehicles increased by 227% year-on-year.
However, Toyota subsidiary Dafa Motors is deeply embroiled in a fraud scandal. The company recently announced that it will suspend operations until January next year and compensate its partners for losses.
