Pfizer will complete the acquisition of Seagen and establish a new oncology department this week. Pfizer announced on December 12th local time that it is expected to complete the $43 billion acquisition of cancer pharmaceutical company Seagen later this week and plans to establish a new oncology department early next year. In addition, Angela Hwang, Pfizer's Chief Business Officer, will step down, and Pfizer will divide its commercial business, excluding tumors, into two departments: the US and international.
