On December 7th, a Swedish court informed Tesla that the union's email blockade will not be lifted, awaiting the final ruling of the case. The preliminary ruling means that the company is still unable to receive license plates, effectively suspending the delivery of cars to its customers in Europe's fifth largest market.
The court stated in a statement that Tesla did not provide strong enough evidence to "explain why the company was harmed by these packages not being delivered before the case was closed.".
Postal workers refused to deliver Tesla's license plate mail in support of employees at seven repair shops in Sweden. Due to Tesla's refusal to sign a collective agreement covering basic rights such as salary levels and working hours, these employees demanded a strike in October.
