The Tesla "brake failure case" and the Shanghai Auto Show roof incident have made significant progress, and the "second person" has been sentenced to apologize and compensate Tesla.
Recently, Tesla sued the "Shanghai Auto Show Incident" for infringement of the reputation rights of female car owners in Xi'an. The court made a first instance judgment, determining that Ms. Li's reputation infringement responsibility in Xi'an was established. Tesla must publicly apologize and compensate for the losses, while also bearing the vehicle appraisal fee.
During the trial of the case, the court entrusted a judicial appraisal agency to conduct an appraisal of the vehicle. The appraisal results indicate that the vehicle in question does not have any braking issues and meets relevant national technical standards.
In the first instance judgment, the court awarded Ms. Li 2000 yuan in compensation for Tesla's economic losses and rights protection expenses.
Insiders close to Tesla have revealed that Tesla is likely to appeal further in the future.
