Xinhua Finance and Economics Nanjing, November 22 (Reporter Zhu Cheng) On the evening of the 21st, Tuniu Tourism Network announced its unaudited performance report for the third quarter as of September 30, 2023. According to financial report data, in the third quarter of this year, Tuniu's net income was 178.2 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 128.9%. The revenue from packaged tourism products was 150.1 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 262.1%. The non US accounting standard net profit was 45.5 million yuan, and the net profit turned positive year-on-year.
Against the backdrop of a rebound in the national tourism market, the performance of Tuniu Tourism Network has significantly improved. Since the Dragon Boat Festival holiday this year, the daily GMV (total commodity trading volume) of Tuniu's "6.16" and "7.16" members has exceeded 39 million and 43 million respectively. At the same time, Tuniu continuously optimizes its business model and marketing ideas for live streaming of liquor and tourism, accelerates the cooperation and incubation of influencers, and builds a team consisting of over 40 in-house full-time anchors, over 130 incubated influencers, over 200 institutional contracted anchors, and over 3000 Tuniu cooperative influencers. From June to August 2023, Tuniu's live streaming GMV reached 498 million, of which the trading volume of live streaming account @ East China small player exceeded 140 million in August, and the trading volume of live streaming account @ Jiangsu Zhejiang Shanghai peripheral games exceeded 120 million in August.
