On November 17th, according to NetEase's third quarter financial report, there were changes in the company's management. The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the company, Yang Zhaoxuan, has submitted his resignation to the board of directors due to personal reasons and will no longer hold this position starting from November 30, 2023, exploring other career developments. Until June 30, 2024, Yang Zhaoxuan will continue to serve as a company consultant to ensure a smooth transition in the company's search for a successor.
In response, NetEase CEO Ding Lei stated, "We sincerely thank Mr. Yang for his contributions to the company over the past six years. He has played important leadership roles in multiple major capital market transactions, which are key milestones in the company's history.
According to data, Yang Zhaoxuan has been serving as the Chief Financial Officer of NetEase since June 2017. During his tenure, he completed important capital projects such as the 2019 NetEase Youdao listing, the 2020 NetEase secondary listing in Hong Kong, China, and the 2021 NetEase Cloud Music listing. Before joining NetEase, Yang Zhaoxuan served as an executive director in the China Technology, Media, and Communications and Investment Banking departments of JPMorgan Chase.
