On November 13th, it was reported that the oil industry leader ExxonMobil will announce its lithium project strategy on Monday local time, announcing plans to start production of a lithium mine project in Arkansas in 2026. It is expected that ExxonMobil and its partner Tetra Technologies will produce at least 10000 tons of lithium annually, with an initial production equivalent to the amount required to produce 100000 electric vehicle batteries.
